What Mini Masters Is Actually About
Mini Masters mixes games (pure fun, motor-skill, and social development) with simplified, age-appropriate Taekwondo skill drills (stances, strikes, blocks, and etiquette), so every class stays fresh while quietly building real foundations underneath. Belts here are time-based, not skill-tested, so there's nothing for your child to fail.

The Real Benefits
Real coordination, not just "running around"
Balance and body-control games build the same control your child later uses to hold a proper stance.
Listening skills that transfer to the classroom
Instruction-following games build the exact skill of responding the first time something is asked of them.
Focus & self-control, practised weekly
Patience and self-control games build the same skill a child needs to hold still and wait their turn.
A real moment in the spotlight, every week
Every child gets a turn in front of the group, with the whole class cheering them on.
Age-appropriate safety awareness
Using a loud voice, saying "no", and knowing their safe helpers. Not technical self-defence, just the right first step at this age.
Genuine first Taekwondo building blocks
Real stances, kicks, and punches: the same movements they'll build on directly in Kids Taekwondo.
Is Mini Masters the Right Fit?
Great fit if:
- Your child is roughly 3 to 5 years old
- You want a genuinely fun first martial arts class, with no grading pressure
- Your child does best with variety and games rather than repetition
- You want to see real gains in listening, focus, and confidence first
- You're happy watching from the sidelines, since nothing happens out of sight
Maybe not yet if:
- Your child is ready for sparring or belt grading, which starts in Kids Taekwondo
- You're looking for a serious technical curriculum from day one
- Your child is closer to primary-school age, where Kids Taekwondo may be the better starting point
What a First Class Looks Like
Your child joins a warm-up game with the group, then works through 2–3 simple drills alongside a coach. Parents are welcome to watch from the seating area the whole time.
What Kids Taekwondo Is Actually About
This isn't a watered-down kids' fitness class. It's a genuine, structured Taekwondo curriculum: every belt introduces new patterns, a new stage of sparring, and new self-defence skills, building step by step rather than teaching everything at once.

The Real Benefits
Real technique, not "cardio kickboxing"
Genuine strikes, blocks, and kicks, taught to an instructor-certified standard, not a generic fitness-class version.
Visible progress that keeps kids motivated
Every belt brings new skills, so there's always a next, tangible goal instead of the same routine on repeat.
Sparring introduced safely, in stages
From simple pre-arranged drills through to free sparring, no child is ever thrown into unscripted contact before they're ready.
Genuine self-defence, not just a talk
Real defence-and-counter drills against grabs and strikes, escalating level by level as skill and control develop.
Board breaking as an earned milestone
Tied to a technique your child has already trained on pads, always instructor-supported, and always about correct technique over raw power.
Real safety training, not just kicks
Break falls and ground positioning taught on proper crash mats, progressing from seated to standing only once technique is consistent.
Is Kids Taekwondo the Right Fit?
Great fit if:
- Your child is roughly 6 to 13 years old
- They're ready for a real structured curriculum with belt grading
- They like having a visible next goal to work toward
- You want a gradual, safe build toward sparring, not an instant free-for-all
- You want both the physical (fitness, coordination) and mental (focus, respect, discipline) sides
Maybe not yet if:
- Your child isn't yet following multi-step instructions consistently. Mini Masters may be the better starting point
- They're specifically after an intense, adult-style striking class. That's what Adult Muay Thai and Teens and Adults Taekwondo are built for, from age 14
Class Structure
45-60 minute classes, small group sizes, grouped roughly by age and belt level. First class: your child is welcomed by a coach, walks through the warm-up with the group, and learns one or two techniques. No belt test pressure, no forms.
What You'll Learn
- Practical striking and self-defence fundamentals
- A genuine full-body workout, with most students seeing fitness gains within weeks
- Proper technique before intensity, no ego and no judgement for beginners
- A path toward your first belt grading if you want one
Class Structure
60 minute classes mixing technique, pad work, and conditioning. Your first class: you're paired with a coach or senior student, walked through stance and one or two techniques at your own pace.
What You'll Learn
- Punches, kicks, elbows, and knees: the full Muay Thai striking arsenal
- Pad holding and pad work with a partner
- Serious conditioning, a genuinely tough cardio and strength workout
- Clinch fundamentals as you progress
Class Structure
60 minute classes: technique drilling, pad rounds, and conditioning. First class is technique and pad work at a beginner pace. No sparring required until you're ready.
What You'll Learn
- High-intensity interval training built for real cardio and strength gains
- Boxercise: pad-based cardio boxing, no sparring or grading involved
- A genuine full-body workout in a supportive, non-competitive group setting
- An easy add-on to your training if you're already in Taekwondo or Muay Thai
Class Structure
45-60 minute classes early in the morning, mixing interval training, bodyweight work, and pad-based cardio. No martial arts technique or experience required, just a willingness to work hard.
